I'm an expert, my friend, I'm an expert,
Though it may cause you some slight surprise.
But my name's down in print and I’d just like to hint
That someone should give me a rise.
I'm an expert, yes sir, I'm an expert
As I'm sure that you already knew,
But note, pay attention, my name got a mention
So now I can prove that it's true.
I'm an expert, defer to an expert,
Who's famous on land and on sea.
I shall be a Consultant and the money resultant
Will go to the glory of me!
I must say that being an expert
Gives a certain interior glow.
But isn't it strange that the fame doesn't change
The amount that I actually know!
